Our debut EP, hand crafted right here in Victoria BC. With Gage Patenaude and Dylan Parr at Blue Bridge Sounds doing the recording, mixing and producing, and mastering done by Malcom Owen-Flood at Stone Mastering. The culmination of 2+ years of work, incorporating some of our first songs as well as new ones, we are immensely proud of the driven, rich, hard rocking sound we have created with this record.
Animal is the first single by Victoria Hard Rock trio Big Flakes. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Josh Szczepanowski (PIGS, The Temps, Men Against the Sea) at Summer Deer Studio with help from Jon Baglo. Animal shows off everything Big Flakes is about, hard rocking metal and classic rock inspired guitar riffs, over crushing heavy fuzzy bass, all driven by hard hitting rock drum grooves. Jonny’s soulful, emotion filled lyrics tie it all together into a burning hot shot of rock and roll madness.
